The capital city of Hungary is Budapest. Buda is on the right side of the river Danube is built among hills, while Pest on the left side is buildt on the plain. We have collected the main sights of Budapest and how far they are from our clinic.

St. Stephens’s Basilica - 15 minutes by foot

St. Stephen’s Basilica is the largest church in Budapest and the third largest church building in present-day Hungary. It is named after Stephen, the first king of Hungary. With its 96 metres, this is one of the highest buildings in Hungary.

Heroes Square - 8 minutes by bus

Heroes’ Square is the most spacious, most influential square in Budapest, located at the end of Andrássí Avenue, where our clinic is located. Heroes’ Square and Andrássy Avenue both part of the World Heritage Site. The square has played an important part in contemporary Hungarian history and has been a host to many political events. Easily reachable in 8 minutes with bus number 105, which departs from the front of our clinic.

Vajdahunyad Castle - 15 minutes by bus

Vajdahunyad Castle is a castle in the City Park of Budapest, Hungary. Ignác Alpár created it for the millennial celebrations of 1896. First, it was a temporary construction of wood, then it became so popular that it was recreated in stone and brick. The building stands on an island, which is accessible via four bridges. Easily reachable in 15 minutes with bus number 105, which departs from the front of our clinic.

Hungarian Parliament - 12 minutes by bus

The Hungarian Parliament is one of the best known public buildings of Budapest. It is situated in Kossuth Square, in thePest side of the city and on the banks of the Danube. It is currently the largest building in Hungary. It was designed by Hungarian architect Imre Steindl in neo-Gothic style and opened in 1902. Worth to visit when it’s lighted, because it’s a really special experience. Trolley bus number 70 or 78 will take you there which stops 3 minutes walk away from our clinic.

Budapest’s main bridges - 15 minutes by bus

Whether admiring the city from the middle of their walkways or gazing at their majestically suspended roadways from the riverbanks, the Danube crossings of Hungary’s capital are always eye-catching. Here we take a look at the city’s five most central bridges and the monumental attractions that surround them. Take bus number 105 from towards Buda and you will be there in 15 minutes.

Buda Castle and Buda Castle Hill - 20 minutes by bus

Buda Castle is a historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest. It was first completed in 1265, but most of the site was built between 1749 and 1769. The castle now houses the Hungarian National Gallery and The Budapest History Museum.

Fishermen’s Bastion

Fishermen’s Bastion is only 100 years old, and is a favorite lookout. In medieval times, the fish market was nearby and the bastion was built to commemorate the fishermen who protected this part of the city. The seven tent-like turrets symbolize the seven Hungarian tribes that arrived to the Carpathian Basin in 896.

Matthias Church

Matthias Church or is one of the top attractions in Hungary, and one of the top romantic places you need to see in Budapest. Located in the Holy Trinity Square, , in front of the Fisherman’s Bastion. The interior of Matthias Church is absolutely unique due to the elaborately detailed gilt walls. The church was also the location of the “Mary-wonder.”

Buda Castle, Fishermen’s Bastion and Mattias Church is located really close to each other and reachable with bus number 105 which departs only 1 minute walk away from Evergreen Dental.
