Traditional braces

Traditional braces are effective and reliable and can be used widely to treat all types of teeth. Modern versions are more comfortable and discreet than they used to be.

Traditionelle Zahnspange

Metal and/or porcelain brackets

Traditional braces are the most common and best-known type. These constructions consist of metal and/or porcelain brackets that are fixed to the teeth with a special adhesive. The braces use wires to apply pressure to the teeth in order to guide and correct their positioning.

Damon Ultima System™

Fixed technology, painless and fast

  • The Damon Ultima System™ is a patented technology that allows the braces to move teeth with a slight force, more efficiently, yet painlessly.
  • Unlike other traditional braces, this solution does not use rubber rings to tie small wires, so it is not uncomfortable to wear and is much easier to clean.
  • In summary, we offer you a more comfortable, hygienic orthodontic option with the Damon Ultima System™, which also reduces the chance of gum recession and tooth extraction.

In which cases are Damon Ultima™ recommended?

Standing teeth for proper bite

Teeth can appear relatively straight while still leaning inwards or outwards.

Smile arch

An important element of a beautiful smile is the smile arch. A smile arch is created when the curvature of the teeth follows the curve of the lower lip, creating a naturally beautiful and rolling smile.

Treatment of the gummy smile

A smile with excess gums, also known as a “gummy” smile, can distract the look from the natural beauty of the teeth and face. Many doctors using Damon braces can now treat gummy smiles with incredible results.

Who will I have a consultation with?

I am Dr Eszter Pál, orthodontist. I graduated from Semmelweis University in 2015. I have been attracted to the field of orthodontics since I was a child. While getting my own orthodontic treatment I got to know the dental environment during the monthly adjustments.

During my university studies, I paid special attention to orthodontics, winning an apprenticeship and assisting in a private practice. During my residency I was introduced to several types of orthodontic systems, from traditional braces to active and passive self-ligating appliances. I also worked in private practice in England until 2023, where I immersed myself in the use of invisible splint orthodontic systems.

After trying out several techniques, I finally found the orthodontic appliances that allow me to provide my patients with the highest quality of care. I use only Damon™ braces as they are gentle on the teeth and bone structure, and minimise discomfort, allowing me to achieve a quick and stable result. As for braces with aligners, I use the American Spark™ Aligner system, which is more comfortable, less visible and more effective than the average aligners thanks to continuous development.
